Beaty Biodiversity Museum

UBC Botanical Gardens & Greenheart Tree Walk
The UBC Botanical Gardens and optional Greenheart tree walks are located 6804 SW Marine Drive (approximately 40 minute walk from the ISPP 2018 conference centre). Rates vary, depending upon which activities you wish to do. Scheduled public tours as well as private walks are available. UBC Aquatic Centre
The newly renovated UBC Aquatic Centre welcomes drop-in swimmers. If you are looking for an on-campus swimming facilities for all ages, this accessible centre can serve your needs. The facility features include a 25 metre recreational pool with diving boards, a 50 metre competition pool as well as a lazy river with accessible ramp. Drop-in rates vary, but start at $6/adult over non-peak hours. Please review the amenities, hours and costs at the aquatics website:
Student Union Building – The Nest
Centrally located, adjacent to the aquatics centre and bus loop, the new student union building is a great place to purchase bus passes, hang out, get a snack, or see some art.

Nitobe Garden is considered to be the one of the most authentic Japanese gardens in North America and among the top five Japanese gardens outside of Japan. Nitobe Garden includes a rare authentic Tea Garden with a ceremonial Tea House.
